Local Production Company Launches Cutting-Edge Studio in Virginia Beach
Open House on April 16, 2–6 PM
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA — Stage Right Lighting, a trusted name in professional production and event lighting services, is proud to announce the expansion of its services with the opening of a brand-new, 3,000 square-foot multi-use studio space in Virginia Beach. This cutting-edge facility brings a new level of creative potential to the region’s film, photography, broadcast, and entertainment industries.
An Open House will be held on Wednesday, April 16 from 2–6 PM, offering guests the first look at the studio’s high-tech features and flexible production capabilities. Guests may enjoy refreshments and demonstrations in the new studio.
Built for Big Ideas
The new studio features a 60’ x 30’ cyclorama wall with a 24’ trim height, perfect for seamless backdrops, large-scale photo and video shoots, or immersive projection environments. Half of the studio can be outfitted with a ROE LED video wall and an optional LED ceiling, enabling XR technology, real-time scene changes, and dynamic lighting—all of which can dramatically reduce post-production time and cost.
An attached control room is equipped with state-of-the-art video, lighting, and audio consoles, operated by seasoned professionals to support even the most demanding productions.
“This studio fills a void in Coastal Virginia,” says David Bell, owner of Stage Right Lighting. “No other local space offers this combination of size, tech, and support staff. Filmmakers and content creators no longer need to travel to cities like Atlanta or New York to get the studio experience they need. We’ve built something special, right here at home.”
Supporting Local Creatives and Businesses
In addition to bringing cutting-edge capabilities to the region, the new studio space also opens doors for local videographers, photographers, musicians, and filmmakers.
The new expansion complements Stage Right’s original 600 square-foot draped studio, ideal for small-scale interviews, headshots, or use as a staging area or changing rooms for larger productions. Both studios are climate-controlled and located steps from a newly refinished green room, restrooms, and ample onsite parking.
“We want to be a creative hub,” says Bell. “We believe that demand for this kind of high-tech production will continue to grow. It’s exciting to see how videographers and photographers in advertising, music, and cinema will find creative uses for the new studio. We want to bring your vision to life.”
