The Installs Team

The installation department at Stage Right has over 42 active jobs in the greater Hampton Roads area and we’re always looking for more.

For those of you who do not know them, let’s introduce the installs team from left to right.

Our department head is Wesley Corwin, a Regent graduate with a degree in Cinematography and a love for rock climbing. He oversees the entire department, providing leadership and direction for Stage Right’s rapid expansion into Tidewater’s audio/visual installation market.

Next up is Justin Hall, our head of installation sales. He handles all things sales with his vast knowledge of AV products and how to best implement them. Justin has been at Stage Right for over 10 years with experience in production and permanent installation. He is our resident ETC Service Technician as Stage Right is a licensed ETC vendor. He holds an Associates Degree AAS in Network Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree BOS in Information Systems and Cybersecurity. Before Stage Right, Justin spent 12 years in the Marine Corps as a combat engineer and aviation communication system technician with 1 combat tour in Iraq. In true keeping as one of the Few and Proud, the only thing he fears are squirrels. When he isn’t patrolling for tree rats, Justin enjoys spending time with his family and powerlifting. His current squat max is 455 lbs with the goal being an even 500. This post will be updated the instant he hits that PR.

Justin’s right-hand man is Ian Harrison, sales associate, and an avid rock climber. Ian handles sales calls and meetings with clients in addition to setting the schedule for our department. He got into AV production when he was 11, helping to produce the worship services on Sundays. He went from there to do his first concert at age 13 where he specialized in Videography. He went from there to do videography and lighting design for two Grammy award winning bands.

Now, let me introduce Cole Cassidy, our logistics manager. He is in charge of warehousing with over 7+ years of experience in coordinating repairs, product acquisition and allocation. He goes to the store and buys the ice-cream, then chooses who gets the ice-cream. Cole is a very recent college graduate with a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science and Music Technology Certification from Virginia Wesleyan University. Cole uses his degree to handle full-stack programming in his attempt to render us all obsolete. When not in the office, Cole spends his time gaming or working on music.

Last, but certainly not least, is Kevin Kriner, our lead tech handling every facet of on-site installation. He’s our point-man on every operation in the field, the brains and the brawn. Kevin has been in the AV industry almost 30 years and he now provides that experience and knowledge to all our Stage Right customers. It’s rumored that Kevin was there the day Rupert Neve built his first fader bank. All jokes aside, Kevin’s vast knowledge comes from his time touring with bands and over 20 years with Fidelity Sound Reinforcement where he mixed a wide variety of artists including Aretha Franklin, Ferrell, and Kevin Hart. He’s also mixed audio for 4 different presidents: Bush Sr. and Jr., Obama, and Trump.

But wait, there’s more. Not only does Kevin mix audio, he also performs. Featured in the October 30th, 2003 Rolling Stone magazine (issue #934), Kevin spent 8 years touring as a drummer for rock band Lucky Town. Check it out below.

You can see Kevin jamming on the drums in the back.

That wraps it up for the Installs team, stay tuned for more.
